A planned independent continuing medical education activity designed to help community rheumatology clinicians recognize systemic Sjögren's disease, assess disease activity with validated clinical tools, and make structured management decisions when symptomatic care alone is insufficient.
Focus areas:
The activity supports disease recognition, structured assessment, evidence appraisal, monitoring, referral, co-management, and patient communication. It does not provide patient-specific treatment recommendations.
Designed for community-based rheumatologists and rheumatology-focused advanced practice providers who manage patients with Sjögren's disease outside academic referral centers.
Planned as a single 60-minute online enduring activity with an integrated case-based assessment. Accreditation is pending; 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ is planned, subject to funding and final approval.
Materials will be released progressively after the activity launches.
Published materials will remain available for two years from first publication. Each material will include a “current as of [date]” disclaimer and will be reviewed for clinical currency annually.
